After earning her B.A. in Fine Art from California State University of Bakersfield, Jamie Cooter continued studying art in San Francisco. While exploring a city rich in culture and art, she also explored working with different mediums, discovering and defining her own artistic style in the process.
Fascinated by the natural world, Jamie's work is often inspired by plants and animals. Using her imagination, Jamie creates her own species of plants while using color to create an atmosphere that fills her drawings with emotion. Like nature, Jamie hopes to create pieces that can capture our attention and peak our curiosity.
Jamie currently lives and works in Portland, Oregon.
